AHDB standard litre –The milk profile used to calculate the monthly and annual average prices. The AHDB standard litre is based on historic UK milk production trends and is reviewed annually.
Milk composition profile – This is the composition of the AHDB standard litre in terms of butterfat, protein, somatic cell count (SCC), bactoscan and monthly production volumes.
Contract name – This is the name of the milk contract/schedule
Monthly price - This is the price in pence per litre for the most recent monthly pricing schedule in which producers have already been paid for their milk. Prices are therefore typically 2 months in arrears.
Annual price – This is the average price in pence per litre which would theoretically be paid across the next 12 months. It is based on the latest monthly contract and assumes no changes to the pricing schedule over that period.
Aligned liquid milk– Liquid contracts aligned to a retailer
Standard liquid milk– Liquid contracts not aligned to a retailer.
Standard manufacturing– Manufacturing contracts not aligned to a retailer.
A&B contracts – Contracts which use differential prices for base and additional volumes, prices shown are combined prices based upon the AHDB standard litre.

Fixed profile - all constituent levels (butterfat, protein, SCC and bactoscans) are fixed through the year except for delivery volumes.
